What we collect

When you join, Habibi Vinyl stores your email address, signup time, consent version, and a random private link token for leaving the list. Email addresses are normalized to prevent duplicate entries.

Why we collect it

We use the waitlist to send news about the Habibi Vinyl store launch. We do not sell your email address. Joining does not create an account, place an order, or reserve stock.

Where it is stored

Signup information is stored in the website’s Cloudflare database. Authorized site administrators can view it. To send launch messages, the list may be processed by an email delivery provider acting on our behalf.

Leaving the list

After joining, the confirmation displays a private link to leave the waitlist. Save that link. It lets you delete your signup without logging in. Keep it private because anyone with it can remove your signup. Future launch emails will also need to include a way to unsubscribe.

Abuse prevention

The server temporarily stores a hashed network address and request counter to limit automated signups. It does not store your raw IP address in the waitlist. Expired counters are periodically removed.

Retention

Your signup remains on the list until you leave or we retire the launch waitlist. We will not treat joining this list as permission for unrelated marketing.
